Player Spotlight: Ruben Dias

Ruben Dias is a talented young Portuguese centre back who currently plays for Primeira Liga side Benfica, as well as having already earned 16 senior caps for his country despite his young age.

The 22-year-old defender began his career playing in the youth side of local club Estrela da Amadora, before moving in 2008 to the Benfica academy. Dias then continued his development with the youth side until 2015, progressing well through the different academy age grades and catching the eye of the Benfica coaching staff.

Player Spotlight: Harry Toffolo

Harry Toffolo is an English full back who currently plays for Huddersfield in the Championship, having moved to the club in January 2020 having impressed at Lincoln previously.

The 24-year-old defender, who is eligible to represent Italy through his father’s family as well as England, began his youth career at Norwich. However, despite 10 years at the club, Toffolo failed to make a senior league appearance at the Canaries and spent much of his time away on loan, playing for Swindon, Rotherham, Peterborough, Scunthorpe and finally Doncaster on a temporary basis while on the books at Carrow Road.

Match Report: Tottenham 1-1 Norwich (2-3 PENS)

Few things are quite as iconic in domestic cup football than watching a dramatic penalty shootout upset, with a goalkeeper saving multiple spot kicks to lead his side to victory. That was just what the country watched on a brisk Wednesday night when Norwich’s Tim Krul denied both Troy Parrott and Gedson Fernandes to claim a surprise FA Cup victory for the Canaries.

Having been expected to be brushed aside by Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham side, Norwich turned up the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium determined not to be dragged down by their struggles in the Premier League this season, currently rooted to the foot of the table and fighting tooth and nail to try and save themselves.
